In fact, every member of my family loves these creamy popsicles.  And every time we serve them to friends, the recipe is instantly requested.

Only three ingredients

The best part?  You’ll need only three simple ingredients.  How great is that?

Side note: you may need to add a teeny bit of water to keep your blender from burning up.  Almond butter makes this mixture pretty thick.  The more water you add, however, the less fudgy your popsicles will be.  So give it a try and see what works for you.

Did I mention there’s no added sweetener?  Yep, good ol’ bananas provide the perfect amount of sweetness.

Trust me, your family is going to love these easy Fudgy Popsicles.

PS: we have another popsicle recipe that my kids adore.  In fact, this recipe is easy enough for them to make on their own!  Here it is: Tropical Popsicles.

I just made these tonight and my kids are going to LOVE them! I used the Chunky Monkey recipe with sunflower seed butter instead of almond. I blended with my Kitchen Aid hand mixer and the batter easily poured into the molds. They’re going to give me some kind of mom-award tomorrow. : ) Thank you!

Can’t wait to hear how they turned out… (And you deserve a mom award, even without the fudgy pops.) 🙂

They were awesome! Everyone loved them!

          Great!

This looks really fun and good. I was wondering if you have any suggestions on what I could use instead of nut butter? We don’t have access to sunflower butter, which we loved when we were in the States, but have severe nut and peanut allergies. Any advice?

    • Kathleen on 08/01/2016 at 12:05 pm

Nicole–what about hazelnuts? Our friends have a severe nut allergy, but can do hazelnuts. Do you have access to sunflower seeds? It would be an extra step, but you could make your own nut butter from sunflower seeds or hazelnuts.

I was planning to make these this weekend!

My kids love these popsicles! We substitute natural peanut butter for the almond butter. They think it’s really neat that they’re only sweetened with bananas. 🙂

I’m glad they’ve been a hit at your house, Jackie!

Wow, love this easy recipe too. All I need to do is buy the popsicle molds. I can’t wait to try this one too.

Maybe my anti-fruit child will eat fruit if it looks like chocolate! I will give it a try.

One of my three doesn’t care for bananas, but he loves these popsicles. Good luck! 😉
