Have you seen this series of nature guides for kids? We absolutely love them at our house.
These Take-Along Guides are not incredibly comprehensive, but they’re just right for young, budding naturalists. They’re a bit too large to tote along on nature explorations (we love these pocket guides for that), but we use them often at home.
What we love about our Take-Along Guides
- Each book contains a good variety of common creatures in its particular category.
- The pictures are fantastic, and the accompanying information is right on target for kids.
- Each guide also includes ideas for related nature activities.
Older Brother loves these guides so much that he often requests to take them to his room for rest time reading. They definitely get his stamp of approval, as well as mine.
