About a year or so ago, I was actually drinking my Magic Tonic with Apple Cider Vinegar every day. There are so many benefits from daily ACV consumption!
A daily tonic of ACV can provide:
- increased energy
- balanced pH levels (alkaline effect on the body)
- healthy probiotics
- reduced Candida and yeast
- detox support
- proper lymphatic drainage
- support for seasonal allergies
- and more!
In fact, reading over this list makes me want to resume that daily practice!
In Which I Consider Premixing
Truthfully, I found it difficult to maintain my daily ACV routine. Mornings are pretty chaotic at my house, and taking the time to whip up a 5-ingredient drink for myself just fell off my list of priorities.

Ready for the Magic Tonic recipe? It’s pretty flexible, so consider this a loose guide instead of an exact recipe.
- 1-2 tsp raw local honey
- ½-1 tsp unrefined sea salt
- ½ cup very warm water (to dissolve honey & salt)
- 2 TB apple cider vinegar
- 1 drop Lemon essential oil
- Place ingredients in the order listed in a ceramic mug or sturdy glass cup.
- Mix well.
- Throw it back. This tonic is best taken quickly, as opposed to sipping. Just do it!
- Drink this Magic Tonic with Apple Cider Vinegar at the very first signs of a cold. Repeat as necessary up to three times per day.
