Some time ago, Mr. Native Texan was lamenting the fact that we had yet to find “Our Spot.”
We’d claimed many such spots while residing in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, which some consider the “Restaurant Capital of the World.” The only Date Night problem we encountered there was deciding where to go!
Unfortunately, between our recent move to a more rural area in a new state and our new dietary habits, we now found ourselves “spot-less.” Date Night planning became a chore.

We love this place!
Step into The Counter® and you’re greeted with a clipboard and an extensive list of fresh mouth-watering ingredients that allow you to build your own gourmet burger. Our 312,120+ different burger combinations make every burger as unique as each customer. Rarely is the same burger made twice in one day.
- They use fresh, local ingredients as much as possible.
- Their sweet potato fries are the best around! And believe you me, we’ve tried more than our fair share of sweet potato fries.
- Oh, and their burgers are good, too. 🙂 We always get the build-your-owns, on a huge bed of salad greens, served in a bowl.
Afterwards, we like to walk around Reston Town Center and do some serious people-watching. Sometimes we grab a drink at the Starbucks nearby.
I’m happy to report we are spot-less no longer.
