This is the time of year when herbs are growing like crazy in our garden. Yours, too?
Here’s an idea for putting herbs to good use, aside from the obvious culinary uses…
Include them in floral arrangements!
We recently hosted a large cookout and I had a fantastic time putting together a zillion small bouquets for decorating purposes.
By the way, this quote from Deborah Needleman in one of my new favorite decorating books really tickled me:

Since our herbs were so plentiful, I decided to be the boss of them by including several–mint, basil, artemisia and lavender–in the bouquets. I was really pleased with the results, and made the following observations…
